Most of the data about a candidate (name, address, phone number, etc.) is stored in the League's membership database, which is not editable through this system.
All you can do is assign a candidate their Candidate ID (when they are new to the system). If you are on the Add a Candidate screen and the person you wish to add is not coming up in your searches, you must request that they be added to the database by sending an e-mail to imfoasignup@iowaleague.org. After this e-mail is processed, they will show up and can be assigned a Candidate ID.
At the time of this writing, the assigning of Candidate IDs is limited to system administrators, which includes only a few members of League staff. This is because the candidate's certification card and introductory letter are printed and mailed from the League, so the assignment of an ID is kept in sync with that by limitng who is able to assign the Candidate ID.
Most of the data about a candidate (name, address, phone number, etc.) is stored in the League's membership database, which is not editable through this system.
Thus, if there is a need to edit something, such as contact information, an e-mail must be sent to imfoasignup@iowaleague.org to request these changes. When complete, the changes will be reflected in the certification system immediately.
To view all the information associated with a candidate, click on the details link next to it. In this view, you can see all the data stored about this candidate. Depending on your permissions, you may also be allowed to see contact information (if this information has been provided to the League and recorded in our database), and you may see additional options such as the ability to view a version history, or publish a draft.
In the details page for a candidate, you can also get a list of all the certifications that have been granted to this individual, as well as a list of courses they have attendance records for. Depending on permissions, you may be able to see the status of any tests they took (pass/fail).
